IPL / Hair remover

What is IPL?

An English abbreviation ofintensive pulsed light, which is a mechanical technique to remove hair.

In practice, the cosmetics / cosmetology 21st century's answer hair removal.
It’s simple, fast, painless, effective, and DURABLE.
(To avoid misunderstanding, we don’t talk about definitive hair removal, as it is made by an expert medical with laser, during a length procedure for serious hundreds of thousands ....)
The IPL technology is a durable, wide-spread hair removal system of our era, which is made by a qualified professional, during a cure (at least 5-8 times an occasion,) according to a defined method and as a result you can get rid of your stubbornly devoted small hairs for a long time, without having unnecessarily overburden to your skin and totolerance threshold of your wallet..

Without all nit-picking ... Let's talk a bit about those hairs ....
A hair basically is a protective mechanism... it participates in thermoregulation, protects, guards and covers…with the evolution and civilization development it has less and less role for him, and we haven’t spoken yet about the social conformity, which says that the most beautiful is the hairless .... sodue to convenient and aesthetic reasons we depilate .... for thousands of years more and morefrequent and with better techniques .... and in the 21st century….the hair-removal showed a sudden progress due to the IPL technology.

What kinds of hair removal techniques are available?

May be mechanical (razors, hair cutting blade, tweezers) or chemical (cream base mixed with chemicals smash the hairs), can be at home (cold resins) and as a more professional way to the well-known cosmetic hot waxing, but we have used galvanic current also introducing it into the hair follicles to coagulate the matrix cells (so-called "hair follicles") and there are a lot of attempts and procedures….there are cheap and painful, cheap and ineffective, expensive and ineffective, very expensive and effective .... and there is the IPL ….which is the winner in its own category… at a reasonable price ...with satisfactory results, without pain.

What is its operating principle?

The IPL machine, with powerful light pulses targets hair follicles and makes them inactive. The emitted light energy is absorbed in pigment content of hair and hair follicle and is converted into heat energy. The hair follicles in growth phase are destroyed in the heat effects. The emitted impulse is especially complex, which provides a so-called thermal relaxationso the surrounding tissues don’t get warm andremain intact.Concerning the life cycle of hair follicles there are three difference periods: growth, retrogressive, resting phase.Melanin formation is the characteristic in the growth phase. That’s why the epilation based on any known method of hair removal can be done only in the physiologically active growth phase.

The technique itself has twoissues: the skin renewal (skin rejuvenating, SR function) and epilation (hair remove-HR function) ... while the HR is an approved cosmetic procedure the SR-rejuvenation of IPL treatments as Skin Rejuvenation - (photorejuvenacio) old age spots, vasodilation treatment Psoriasis treatment - acne, acne treatment) have dependent on machines and personnel, typically cosmetology problem than cosmetic.

In our salon we consider hair removal as our main profile, and our machine belongs to machines specialized in the latest IPL technology with pulsed lighthaving collagen building effect, which is one of the responsible fibersin fibersregeneration. .Due to it,during the treatment the skin becomes beautiful. This machine works with pulsed light, so we make hair-removal by effect of delivered energy particles. The machine operator head has a surface cooling, so we can treat you completely painless.A new thing is that with this machine we can treat not only darker, but blond, red, and even grey hairs also. The desired result usually demands 5-8 occasions, but the number of treatments depends on the individual’s hairs quality and quantity. It is important, however, that itrequires less times than older models.

Afterhow many times is a treatment successful?

Don’t believe that in other cosmetic salons promise treatments of 2-3 times, which aren’t really sufficient to permanently get rid of your hairs on various skin surfaces.

The fact that towhom and how many times it is indispensable to permanently get rid of hairs depends on:
• client’s age
• colours of its skin and hairs (the lighter skin and darker hairs are, the more effective the treatment is!)
• its kind of metabolism,
• what its pain threshold is like.
• whether it is on a diet
• What the type and quality of its hairs are and in which areas they can be found.
• How it is ready to comply with treatment requirements (sun protection, omitting tanning, refrain from non-use of chemicals, increased attention to keeping the skin intact ... etc.)
Professionals should always be aware of this information to be able to arrange that how many times their guests have to come to a permanent hair removal on their various body surfaces.

What are the possible side effects of IPL treatments?

• mild erythema (redness) for a few hours after treatment
• slight puffiness of the treated area, looking slightly darker veins
• rarely (especially in darker skins), pigment spots, or even more strongly pigmented (they appear only in a few weeks)
What do you keep beforetreatment?
• Consult always a professional! You speak here about the treated area, the expected results; you will get accurate and thorough information about every bit of momentum of the treatment.
• The surface ready to treatcan’t be reached by sunlight min 2 weeks prior to the treatment and during the treatment.
• Don’t use on the area ready to treat such medicinal products (skin, inside and out), which thin your skin or make it sensitive to light. (Roaccutane, Sotret, Aknenormin, glycolic acid products, etc ...)

How does the treatment take place, what is its process?

You speak to your professional expert about the process of the treatment, during the consultation you talk over the possible result, side effects, medical information sheet, relevant rules to be kept, a sample test (called "test shots") is done byyour operator (removes the hairsfrom the surface, shaves, places translucent contact gel on that surface. you have safety glasses, it moves the conductor head on the surface and adjusts the flash, so sets the parameters tailored to yourskin, then wipes the gel, and treats afteryour skin, while the treatment is being registered in your the treatment diary.)
How do you have to treat the treated surface after treatment?
Don’t irritate the treated area by any ways (do not use ice immediately, or chemicals, armpits stick, skin care, etc. ..., don’t put your skin out heat, cold or high-temperature changes ...) and use always sunscreen cream!! (SPF 50)
What isn’t allowed to do during an IPL treatment?
• applying a hot bath, a sauna,within 24 hours after treatment
• irritating the treated area (scratching, touching ..)
• using oil, perfume, lotion, body spray, deodorant agents within 48 hours
• swimming in chlorinated pool
• doing strong sports (because of excessive sweating)
• tanning in a way that your treated surface isn’t coated with a white cloth coat (if you do not need, do not even tanning bear it, it's worth!)
